Some ways to kick start your business.
Business before launching your business.

Sitting here in Auckland airport right now after days of delays and cancellations truly got me thinking, what if you could have customers before you launched your first business?

Transform bad news into good news, and leverage that with marketing."
Find problems.
Imagine asking 10-15 people who you know personally and professionally that have a business, side hustle or company, what are some of the frustrations they find with sharing their message to their audience or potential audience.
These problems or as I’d call them, opportunities, are ways to come up with solutions for your first clients. Over the past almost 20 years of watching the internet grow from chat rooms to online stores, one thing is certain - every single business, whether they value it or not, needs to tell a story through writing, photos and more so videos now (yes, even the words inside that video are important).
Create your offer.
This might be as simple as helping the business come up with a way to create content for their product or service. Before you do this, you must have an offer, because this will allow you to transact a purchase or sale.
Have a scope of work.
You want clear deliverables in a way thats easy for both parties to understand and more importantly, know what is expected. This will allow any extra work to be billed accordingly (which should also be stated in the scope of work).
This document needs to be signed by both parties when an agreement is made.
Get to work.
It’s time to put everything into action and bring the project to life.
Some tips when doing this are clear ways to communicate in the way you like to communicate. Some companies are removing emails and only have certain times to respond on slack, so it’s important to put this in place early, before it gets out of hand, and you are receiving text messages, emails, instant messages and phone calls! This is not productive.
